Computer Supreme and Technopolis is heavily inspired by the movie Wall.E for sure,with Computer Supreme Resembling Auto, Dr.X, leader of Technopolis Resembling the captain of Axiom and Gene being "Wall.E" essentially discovering there is life outside and wanting to prove it to the captain.

Also included extra bit at the end showing how Dr.X doesn't hate Gene but is just jealous of Gene's intellect and was under Computer Supremes control

Does anyone else want to protect Doctor X a little bit?

I mean, he was lied to his whole life, just like the rest of the Technopolians were. He couldn't even consider the possibility of life outside Technopolis without Computer Supreme threatening to replace him.

He was probably only taught how to be a showman, rather than an actual ruler, since he was basically a human face for the Technopolians to trust like many probably were before him. The city’s rulers were most likely picked based in gullibility and a need for attention, rather than scientific merit, and he must have worked that out by now or found some files that he was told not to bother with before that would lead to that conclusion.

Now the outside world is available to explore, but he doesn't know where to start, and he has to keep his people happy somehow, so he starts doing a load of projects because that's all he knows. All his inventions fail now because he doesn't have Computer Supreme to guide him now, he made a cleaning robot which people have tried to use for evil (though you have to question the fact that it has lasers), and he accidentally created a group of evil teens with the same skills as Super 4 as well as the means to make more.

He no longer has Computer Supreme looking over his shoulder, but he also doesn't know what he's doing. He does know he was never supposed to.
