watch The Ghost In The Shell at least once a month (mandatory for all my followers, regardless whether you write smut or not)
characters: you gotta have some you wanna fuck, some you just wanna see suffer, and some that you yourself are kind of indifferent to but which your readers might identify with. and ideally not all of your characters are human (see point 6)
plot (although points 1 thru 7 kinda give you 70% of this already)
as few cis or male characters as makes sense for points 1 thru 9 (cis men already have plenty of representation in smut, in case that's not apparent to you)
ignore your readers' demands and write what YOU would want to read (this guarantees you will have readers who enjoy what you like to write)
send it to me so i can, uh. critically review it. possibly with one hand. (but please tag it for me)
