I'm trying to find a fanvid I watched a while ago. the only thing I remember is that it had really cool sound editing. like, a lot of vids juxtapose the season 3 "the fuck are you looking at" scene with the one in season 7. but this one spliced the audio together so that the line from the season 3 scene is layered to match directly on top of the season 7 clip. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me find it so I can watch it again!

what I did was copy the test of the caption I wanted to keep, deleted everything, and then put that original caption back in. Not sure if it's the "right" way to do it, but it's all I could think of because YEAH SO ANNOYING.

the way I did it before this update was to copy what I wanted, remove reblogs, then paste as caption. the method worked pretty well until this update, which strips the links/blockquote formatting, making it hard to properly attribute what I'm copying

ohhhh yeah, that should work! :D why didn’t i think of that? i wonder how this’ll look with the update and/or the new extension to fix the update - like is my name gonna get stuck in there on reblogs even if i haven’t actually added anything except the original caption? - but this is definitely the best way i’ve seen to get rid of the nonsense without losing the original caption. thanks you guys!

Michael/Maria (Roswell) is definitely an A possibly even an A+. I don't care to see either of them with anyone else, and I like the way their relationship grows and changes over time, as the characters themselves grow and change. I think I've even written fic for them; I certainly intended to back when I wrote fic. I really miss writing fic.

Yeah, I can see how that might be a problem. She does have other suggestions that complement the 'spark joy' evaluation - like whether you would pick the piece out in a store now (so pretend you are shopping). I found that quickly trying on the clothing also helped me decide. I also told myself before I started that if there was anything that was especially hard to evaluate I could just keep it and not deal with it - a free pass - but I didn't end up doing that at all. Once I got started it was surprisingly easier than I anticipated. I was surprised at how many things I liked once that I decided to get rid of because they no longer work for me now. Also, I had so much guilt tied up in my clothes! It really helped to be able to say thank you with those ones. Also maybe thinking about joy blunted the impact of all the other feelings? 

Anyway, I would recommend reading the book. I am guessing a lot of libraries carry it, although my libraries had wait lists. Here are some links for excerpts.

2. I am very nosy about people’s work habits so… What is your work space like? Is it regular/stationary? Do you have a view? Posters up? What’s on it at the moment?

My work space is basically my preferred seats in my preferred rooms in various libraries around London. I need them to be relatively airy. I don't work well at home because that place is for relaxing and telling bad jokes with my boyfriend and flatmate. 

3. If you could change a plotline in your favourite tv show, what would you change?

Dummmmmmm I'd change Sybil dying in Downton I guess. I'd DEFINITELyyyyy have changed the Gendry storyline holyyyy shit. 

4. The last three things you googled.

For Christmas it's the Nightmare Before Christmas and Elf. Other than that nope!

Liver and onions and tinned hamburgers (really)

SANDWICHES. I live on sandwiches right now. I don't have time to cook, and even if I do, I find it too exhausting. Plus sandwiches can come with me to the library. 

8. What was your worst transportation/travelling experience?

I suppose when I had a panic attack on my own on a flight to Scotland when my brain decided that nope, even after years of travelling via air/having taken flying lessons when I was younger (my Dad = part time pilot) I had fear of heights. 

9. Is there anything you’re looking forward to?

Seeing my dogs in a few days.
