Sometimes I take this kind of photos. I take great pleasure in photographing boring landscapes, abandoned places, concrete remains of socialism. I imagine myself like the new topographics photographers, going to forgotten territories, walking, seeing, framing, photographing. But in the end, I realise that my life is different from these photographers. There are days when I just stay at home and edit all day. And since I am taking a photo every day, not 20 every other week, compromises must be made. So I guess, inevitably, there will be photos of cats and photos of food. But, from time to time, I can imagine I am a cool contemporary photographer.
