My first time experimenting with iridescence and snake scales, "Spectra" marked a big turning point in my relationship with broader color palettes and complex textures. I have a lot of really good memories of the painting process.

💚An Anniversary post I never posted here for my favorite Danny Phantom episode; my brothers keeper, whenever I'm feeling down I put this episode on and cry a little over a sibling relationship like that.💚

A lot of the Danny Phantom community I've seen have similar struggles that this show has brought us together through, from being afraid to be yourself, being "something else" or just not having anyone to stand up for you. I used to study how Danny talked up to Spectra because I used to not be able to stand up for myself either, but now I'll stand up for any and every queer and trans person, so I think I'll be dressing up as Danny for pride to show my love for you guys 🙂‍↕️

this episode really showed how easy it is to have someone walk over you, and drain you, so I tried capturing that in my poster where she's absorbing everyone's emotions through colours in an arcadey style :)
