Recorded Programming

It’s been fantastic to see the interest in the programming lineup since we made the announcement and we’re looking forward to seeing you all at the con next month! 

We have noticed quite a few people express interest in attending but uncertainty as to whether the schedule will clash with prior commitments - plus most of our academic and fan programming will be happening simultaneously and we understand that no one wants to miss out!

Because of this, most of our programming items will be recorded and available to view for attendees for 2 weeks after the con. Our presenters are all being given the option to record on an ‘opt-in’ basis and we are regularly updating the schedule on the website to reflect whether items will be recorded or not

I'll be participating in Couchcon! 🎉🎉

Couchcon (June 25-28) is one of a few different online conventions being held this year in lieu of many public conventions being cancelled, greatly affecting a number of artists' income. There will be panels and virtual artist alley tables, so spread the word and save the date!

Some other comments

1. No, I won't say the exact con I'll be at, for security reasons. However if you too are going to a con this week message me, and I have a few questions to confirm if we're at the same place.

2. If you do see me, and recognize me feel free to come and say hi! I have met online friends before and had a fun time doing so!

3. I will be in a group. More likely than not I will not mind if you or anyone you're with wants to join us at the con. Last time my friend and I joined a random group and had a great time.

4. I will not have the same costume on everyday, and will post on here each day with what cosplay I'll have.

5. I won't post other people's cosplays until I have keft the con. Again to make it more ambiguous as to what con I'm at. I will post photos of some of the people we're hanging with from time to time, likely 3 a day.

Update! (Online store and con info)

First off, we’ve reached 700+ followers! Thank you so much to everyone who recently have started following me and a big thank you to those of you who have been following me for a long time! I’m thinking that if we can reach 1000 I’ll do a giveaway of some sort. I’m so thankful for you guys and your support!

Second, I’m planning on moving my store from Storenvy to Tictail once my semester is over. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while and I wanted to get it done before Otakon so that I can take some preorders rather than trying to make the move while I’ve got open orders. I’m doing almost a full overhaul of my stock so there will be plenty of new stuff going up into the new shop. I’ll keep you all posted!

Third, I wanted to share my general convention plans. While I wish I could say if I’m for sure in one convention or another, I can only provide information as fast as I receive it. So, let’s see where we’re at right now. 

Here are my for-sure conventions/events:

Anime Banzai - Layton, UT - October 20-22

Anime NYC - New York City, NY -November 17-19

Now, you might have noticed that Salt Lake Comic Con isn’t on the list this year. Unfortunately, due to some changes to the Artist Alley, I won’t be able to attend as a vendor this year. As sad as this makes me, they’ve made decisions that they feel are best for them and I’ve had to make a decision that’s best for me too. However, I feel that if they hold FanX again next year I could be back in the spring! We’ll have to wait and see. I’m hoping I’ll make it in to Anime Banzai so that I can come visit in Utah again! After all, I really love all the conventions there. ;~; I may attempt applying to the Salt Lake Gaming Con next year as well.

Hi! i'm going to my very first con soon and i was wondering if you could tell me the process of picking up photo op pics? i'm sort of on a tight schedule and i know that it must take very long (i have a photo op with j2 *dies*). also wow are you really goint to stanford? like. that's even higher than the ivy leagues

Hey anon! First off, I'm so excited for you!!! Conventions are so much fun and everyone is very, very friendly; you'll have a fantastic time! Second, I'm actually just applying to Stanford. I'm not sure I'll get in, but Jensen wished me luck so I think that counts for something?

On the topic of picking up photo ops, if you're going to a Creation Entertainment convention, what they do is set out tables somewhere at the venue (you'll want to ask where the tables are at) and lay out all of the photos. You have to wait in line to pick up your photo op. If it's a j2 photo op, they usually come out 2-4 hours after you took it the photo itself. They hand out flyers with all the times and procedures for picking up photo ops, too. I hope I helped!
