Casting Call - Live Fic Reading at @barricadescon
I had so much fun last time that I had to make sure it happened again this year!! We will be reading a dramatized version of “Philia” by @shitpostingfromthebarricade, in which Marius attempts to plan Courfeyrac’s birthday party. (And ultimately succeeds. Arguably.)
Characters Needed:

Requirements:
You'll need to show your face on camera, and have a reliable microphone and internet connection
The presentation is Saturday, July 25th at 22:00 UTC (what time is that for me?)
We'll have 1-2 practice sessions before the con date, to be decided based on availability

Regarding the recent Discord Policy Changes:
The recently announced Discord changes are not expected to affect Barricades Con. Our convention has no 18+ channels or content, so attendees will not need to provide photo ID or other means of age verification to attend Barricades. We'll update as needed in case of any further Discord announcements, but for now we don't anticipate any direct conflicts with Discord on this. So register today for Barricades Con- no photo ID needed! Early bird prices til February 15, 2026!
Call For Panel Submissions!
Have you got an idea for a Barricades convention panel? We'd love to hear it! Submissions for panels at Barricadescon 2026 are now open, until April 15th! Apply here!
What can make up a panel? Almost anything related to Les Miserables! Some new research you'd like to share, a fan theory you'd love to explain , a fun idea for a craft session, all these and more have been in the programming for past events!
