Originally part of the Borgin family, Elianna had always felt like they were on the outside of society, or not as valued as some of the others. Not in the Sacred 28, Elianna’s family was always viewed as less than others. And so, they found themselves trying to make friends in high places. Josette Avery had been Elianna’s best friend, even if the friendship had started with Elianna using them as a way of cementing themself into the higher-valued families.
But then everyone around them was getting married and, despite their best efforts at hobnobbing among the elite, Elianna ended up with Gregory Goyle. It might not have propelled Elianna much higher than where the Borgins had initially been, but Gregory has proven to be okay so far.

Elianna knows that Gregory has something on the Avery’s. Elianna doesn’t know what that something is and plans to stick to their spouse’s side, all too willing to torment the person that used to be their best friend.

Gideon Prewett - They really couldn’t be any different. But still, Elianna has found that Gideon is quite nice. The Prewetts were as on the outside as the Borgins were, and Gideon might have been a marriage option if their family hadn’t been full of blood traitors. Elianna sometimes wonders what could have been, but tries not to think about it, knowing it could lead to longing for a different life.
Josette Rosier - They used to be best friends, but more recently Josette has been pulling away a little. Eliana is a little confused, and wonders what she did to push her away. Or sometimes she wonders if Josette thinks Elianna is no longer good enough now that she married into the Rosier family.
Gregory Goyle - It was not a love marriage, just a marriage of convenience, but it works for them. Elianna discovered their spouse is as into manipulating and blackmailing as they are. They know Gregory has something on the Avery’s. Elianna doesn’t know what, and wonders if it’s the reason Josette pushed them away. Either way, Elianna would side with their spouse’s stance and doesn’t mind joining in with a little bit of blackmail.
