Why me?!

So I went to A&E last night, with the fear my contact lens was stuck in my eye.. turns out after a 3 and half hour wait that the lens was never in my eye... instead I was left with the embarrassment of trying to find a non existent lens. .. resulting to a blood shot eye and me scratching my eyeball whilst enjoying the A&E life for the first time

Contact Lenses

What if we could put in

each others contact lenses

and see the rainbow

how they see it

or how they see a situation

or other peoples' opinions

how do they loo at a loved one?

We never truly know people

We cannot fathom how they see

the world

unless we put on their mask

for a spell

but what if we could

would we find a place

in our own eyes

to look at them with a bit more

understanding

of the genuine breed

the opinions might not be so narrow

our world could expand

from its tiny corridor and I could see the world through you

and our eyes and hearts and ears

could come together as one

And I would see the love and pain

you bear for the world

and tears would fall from our eyes

because neither of us

are as alone as we thought

Someone should make a contact lens

for that...
