the great detective of the east did not deserve to be ridiculed by some drama king sleuth. more specifically, another member of the armed detective agency took part into one of his investigations-- well, the great detective mouri kogoro's investigations technically, although the majority of them were solved by shinichi through the use of his anesthetic watch gun & voice-changing bowtie. the presence of this osamu dazai person was not necessary in the slightest.

annoyance flickered in conan's azure orbs as the other detective's interruption disrupted his comments to the police officers & inspector megure.

great, just what i needed... who in the world does this guy think he is, calling me a 'wee grasshopper,' let alone interrupting my comments to inspector megure & the police? what are his intentions?

being tossed aside & dismissed by someone older than him was not particularly uncommon. however, these actions still pissed shinichi off nonetheless, although being a child again does have its own set of advantages as well, especially if he was putting on an innocent & childlike act to extract information from suspects.
