It saddens us to announce that we received a call from Yunnie’s mother in the early hours of July 23rd, informing us that she had passed away before her time at the age of 24.  Out of respect for her family, we will not be answering any questions related to circumstances surrounding her death. We hope you will all understand that it is absolutely imperative to be respectful and empathetic towards those who were close to Yunnie in their current time of grief.  We must apologize for not informing you earlier, as we initially were uncertain how best to handle this situation. The hows and whens to pass on this sad message had to be carefully considered. It hurt a lot to ignore questions regarding Yunnie and even outright lie to some of you during this time. But, we needed this time to realize for ourselves that this was all very much real.  Starting from Detective Conan File 966 over three years ago, Yunnie had been translating all of the newest Detective Conan chapters, first with Irregular Scans and then later with BSI Scans. She also translated and worked majorly on the subtitles for Movie 20, Movie 21 and the Episode ONE TV special, translated interviews by Gosho Aoyama, magazine news and sometimes fanart.  Through her Tumblr and Discord, she was a highly active and beloved member of the fandom, with her ever cheerful and passionate personality shining bright. Rest in Peace, Yunnie, and thank you for all the memories we made together. Gone, but never forgotten.
