Had an authentic Detroit dining experience earlier this week, visiting Buddy's Pizza, that is the O.G. location on Conant & West McNichols (Six Mile) Road. Buddy's is the originator of "Detroit-Style" deep-dish pizza, which is square with a crispy bottom.
