Distilling my childhood story to a spine with Edward Field’s poem Tailspin
The slides of my first pitch about my individual research topic.
Feedback: try and think of a target group. Further it was very clear and interesting.
Materials, prints and colors presented for our concept.
The colors suited for our concept presented on a Rubiks cube.
We made a transformable color card, because this is what happens when you have to use unpredictable fabrics and unpredictable personal outcomes. The more squares of one color you see, the more it will be represented in a garment. The singular squares are the pop-up colors, mainly used within our prints.
Premiere Vision findings
Our concept has evolved.
- Our old conceptboard seemed to be outdated. The images were not as inspiring and future forward as we would like it to be.
Therefore we updated it to the first mood board: this shows more luxurious images, more futuristic and also is more storytelling with the pictures with layers and almost multiple worlds. However, it did not suit our story quite well yet.
That is why we now have a new visual board again:
We feel this one really suits our newest idea of our concept. It gives a material feeling, colors, a more futuristic approach and also a very personal take on architecture.
We merged our research together and talked about it with Birgit. The idea of structuring your own identity is good, and we got the feedback to excel on the playful and colorful part. Therefore I did more research in the relevance of this, to underpin our choices.
