This amuletic piece is grounded in my fascination with seeds, their shape, textures, colors and their amazing ability to create. I am no botanist, more a magpie, I pick up random seeds and tuck them away in boxes. Then inspirations strikes and I have no idea what's what. I do think the large flat seeds are persimmons. And I think the bit in the middle is actually a pine cone of an unknown sort that I picked up in a parking lot out West some where. Other than that, you're on your own for identification. The base is paper which I made in a paper making class - wouldn't I like to do that again.
