So I went to see All Time Low and their support was Blitz Kids (who are absolutely fucking awesome) A few days before I uploaded a cover of Blitz Kids' On My Own and Jono Yates from the Band saw it and loved it! So at the concert they dedicated the song to me!! they said ''This next song, we're gonna play for this girl right there, she's done an amazing cover of it on YouTube that we absolutely loved so GIVE IT UP FOR HER'' AND THEY POINTED AT ME AND THEY REALLY SANG IT FOR ME He noticed me in the crowd and thought ''damn we're gonna dedicate it to her'' I MEAN HOW AMAZING IS THAT? The whole crowd turned to me and people were hugging me and congratulating and I was cryin, I LOVE BLITZ KIDS SO MUCH
even the day after when I saw FOB people from the ATL gig came up to me and hugged me and I was just blown away by the love
random flashback: don't be condescending to me
Example 1:
Bamboozle 09, I was hanging out with some people I met on line waiting to meet Taking Back Sunday (which didn't work out because they cut the line off literally right before I met them) in the crowd for TBS right before they started their set, and we were talking about how excited we were for them to start. Seriously, I spent the whole day with these two sisters, and it all led up to TBS, so I was undoubtably excited, but tired because it was the end so I was like "Oh I hope the pits aren't too intense because my ankle is killing me" (That was the year I sprained it and didn't tell anyone and danced the Nutcracker on it).
Some guy turns around and says with this infuriating superior air "Have you been to a Taking Back Sunday show before?"
"This is my 3rd TBS show (asshole). I'm saying it because I know what the crowd is like, now please turn back around." And then his girlfriend hit him on the back of the head, which was very nice of her.
I hate it when people are condescending to me.
