After 6 months I decided to write about my first ever concert experience.
#GOT7KeepSpinningInManila at MOA Arena (Oct 26, 2019) I remember when GOT7Official on Twitter announced a world tour including Philippines, I was excited and immediately decided that I will buy a VIP ticket. I started saving up money from my paycheck to afford the royalty ticket which costs around 300 USD, I joined a lot of raffles so that I’ll be able to get my desired ticket.
But, we cannot always get what we want; I ended up in VIP seated (250 USD) the least seat I want since it’s not close enough to see GOT7 and.. nothing is so special about that seat, however as the event gets nearer and nearer I’m getting excited!
Fast forward to concert day, since I went alone (it’s not that bad tho. I enjoyed my me time) I met my twitter mutuals, talked about GOT7, ate lunch and go to our respective queuing lane.
The concert started at 7PM PST first in the set-list was of course “Eclipse”. I couldn’t believe that GOT7 is performing in front of me! I can’t stop shouting “GOT7! GOT7! GOT7!” I forgot that I was in seated area at that time since I've been using my whole body during the concert.
Anyway, I could write my whole experience but I guess that will be too cliche and cringey so to sum up:
1) It’s not always about the seat, it’s the concert experience.
2) Socialize, this is once in a lifetime learn to be friends with your “twitter mutuals”
3) Be ready, KPOP community loves surprises concert tour then new album then Japanese album you name it! Just ALWAYS be ready.
4) Take a pictures or video BUT not the whole concert, it’s better to sing and wave your lightstick than to hold a phone.
5) Learn the fanchants, sing with your idols. We don’t judge. I don’t even know some lyrics lol
6) ENJOY, we don’t always see celebrities especially Korean, so as much as possible forget all your problems.
Note: Before the concert my bias is Jaebeom but I was whipped by Youngjae! he’s so cute and funny when he said: “I miss my Coco”, he was also the last member to leave the stage my heart went “uwu”.
