Storytime! So at Blink last night these three girls and their guy friends showed up in our row after ATL performed and they asked us to slide down a few seats so their friends could fit. Internally, I rolled my eyes thinking these people will be so annoying and would be drinking and ignore us (you know the kind of people). A few minutes later, A Day to Remember starts playing and the girl to the right of my friend asked us why we were sad. We didn’t know ADTR new music so we were sitting down waiting for Blink to come on. She then offered us some of her beer and told us to dance with them. There was no use just sitting there, we were at a concert afterall! Even though none of us knew the music well (or at all) we rocked out hard to that scremo stuff. Even though we could have sat there and waited for the exciting part of the show to happen, we had so much fun dancing and singing to music we had never heard before. I feel like in life it’s hard sometimes to enjoy stuff that you’re not entirely comfortable with, or things or situations that you avoid, or that make you anxious, but it’s nice to know that you can make it fun if there’s someone there who can help you get through it and actually enjoy yourself. Shout out to Jenna, Toni, and Emily for being so nice and making last night one to remember. I have said this hundreds of times since making my blog and I feel like it should be my catch phrase, but I love nice people. SO MUCH. They make everyday a little brighter :)
