Day 6 - Key West Sightseeing & Free Time
Great morning to wake up and have breakfast on the beach! This is living. This morning we visited the world famous Kermit's Key Lime Shop! We Kermit himself! We got a history of the key lime and a special private key lime pie making demo!! Plus we each got to sample!!! We had a piece of Key Lime pie covered in chocolate on a stick!! It was heavenly!! I spent way to much money there, but they had everything from Key Lime cookies to key lime tea, Key lime oils, salad dressings, well worth the trip.
Next we took a ride on the Conch Train and had a wonderful tour of Key West, seeing the sights and hearing the history was wonderful.
Then we had the afternoon and evening free, to relax and enjoy. What a great day!
