Back to Normandy
There is a constant current here I see,
Deep in the heart of the riptide seas
A shell once shipwrecked and buried deep
In the tears of the salty and the sweet.
But there is hope in the sea,
It comes flowing in with the light,
In colours so bright and in green seaweed.
It rises and falls with the tides.
There upon Normandyâs sandy shore,
Cockles roll and wave with the Conch shell.
