Conclusions
Concluding paragraphs have long been a pain in my rear and most people’s rears when it comes to writing papers.
Since it is, basically, your last chance to make the point your whole paper has been making, but in one paragraph a conclusion can make or break your paper.
Well, not entirely but it can impact how well your paper is received/graded.
So, how do you tackle the dreaded things?
Well firstly you have to restate the thesis but in a different manner. In fact the first parts of this concluding paragraph are in fact just rehashing your intro in different manners before tacking on the parts that demonstrate your points more clearly and begin to fully summarize the point you were, in fact, making with this paper.
Then you need to get the clincher. A lot like the hook for the introduction, the clincher has to wiggle its way into the minds of your reader so your paper is still in their minds in some way, shape, or form.
