anyway good morning a crucial tenet of hollanov’s relationship is that they’re equals and they’re the only people in the world who could ever be each other’s equal. they were supposed to stand alone at the top but they’re there together. shane does not view ilya as a lazy useless inconvenience. ilya does not view shane as a nagging killjoy. they are equals and they both think the other is the best thing since sliced bread and they love each other but more importantly they LIKE each other. stop making them not like each other!

it's fucking insane to me how so much of the project hail mary/bloodymary fandom complaints i see are swinging at absolutely nothing. "people like grace but not stratt and that's unfair!!" most people like both! i have never seen a morally complex female character so loved by a fandom! what are you talking about! "people are infantilizing rocky and it's so ableist" i'm sure that's happening somewhere but the majority of rocky content i've seen has been more than happy to recognize him as a highly intelligent and autonomous being! hell, grace is the one who's more often infantilized out of the two of them! what the fuck are you talking about! "it's fucked up that grace is soooo aroace coded but people brought in simon just to ship him with someone!!" most bloodymary content DOES include grace being aro and/or ace in a really compelling and nuanced way! and most bloodymary fans are super chill about people not liking the ship! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!!! this is one of the chillest fandoms ever why are we making shit up to be mad about!!!! jesus christ!!!!
