im super excited for maps i got a whole degree in it pls share all maps

OH ok well they’re kinda basic still. I used a website to make the base because I’m Lazy. I’m also still like... learning about specific climates and weather patterns so i can’t vouch for great accuracy :U

here’s the general map of the area with a number of WIP names for places (some of them are very shit pls don’t judge me)

and here’s the climate map overlay. i’m still,.... researching stuff u kno. i need to do average temperature ranges but i’m trying to find real world support for the location ideas i have so it’s taking some time.

and for extra fun, i applied some of the pictures i’ve saved as inspiration to the actual map to help me conceptualize...... stuff

somewhere along the way i realized i was Really Tired of european fantasy world settings, so i figured i’d go all out and try and craft unique cultures hailing from areas like rainforests and arid steppes.
