INTERNET MOURNS PASSING OF GENE WILDER, LEGENDARY STAR OF ‘CONDESCENDING WONKA MEME’, OBSCURE MOVIES
Stamford, CT – Sources have confirmed that Internet icon and occasional actor, Gene Wilder, has passed away at the age of 83. Wilder is most well known for his ubiquitous meme ‘Condescending Wonka’. His family has stated that a private graveside service will be held by the end of the week. However, the president of the Internet is organizing an online memorial to honor the void that has been left by Wilder’s death. In a prepared statement, the web’s chief said, “we will forever miss Mr. Wilder’s sass, wit, and smarmy top hat. Nothing can replace his ability to sum up complex political & social issues and dismiss them with a biting retort.”
Wilder was also nominated for an Oscar and appeared in numerous films deemed 'classic’ by preceding generations. Titles include 'Blazing Saddles’, 'Young Frankenstein’, 'The Producers’, and other films available on VHS.
