It might be a small thing, but Osomatsu-kun started in the 1960s, just like CatCF, which was first published in 1964. That nostalgic link inspired me to rush this little parody together.
I Saw The TV Glow but it's you trying to convince me that Willy Wonka really happened and that I'm supposed to be the blueberry.
"What if she was right? What if I was someone else? Someone beautiful and bloated? Filled to the brim and suffocating under the weight of my swelling body on the other side of a television screen?"
"Sometimes the Factory Floor feels more real than real life."

le wnoka theories
so uh my timeline for the wonka movies is 2023 -> 1975 -> 2003
wonka's backstory was split between the 2005 and 2023 movies
he used to live with his mother. She collected cacao beans and on wonka's birthday, he had 1 chocolate bar his mom makes him. He always has his sentimental feeling about the chocolate in the movie. (2023) and when she died, he went to his strict father that banned him from eating candies. His dad was a dentist btw (2005). Theory: He loves chocolate so much because it reminds him of his mother, and he was traumatized by his father banning him from candy because it felt like he couldnt feel his mom's love anymore. The love his mom had for him (now in the chocolate) is something he now wants to give to other people.
In the 1973 movie, that happens in canon, a few years after the 2023 movie, his business is fresh out the oven and becoming sucessful. He's growing older now, so he looks for a candidate via golden ticket promo. He's a little more wacky, because he's had more oppurtunities to explore his imagination. He's still kind and cheerful like in the 2023 movie, but now that he's established his business, he's not an underdog anymore. He's finally confident in himself after beating everything that came in his way when he was a young lad
in the 2005 movie, he's been in the business for a long time now. He's a bit eccentric because of isolation. Working in a candy filled factory for decades had isolated him from the outside world, as the factory is very large, it needs lots of maintenance, every thing inside is something only he knows how to use and tinker with. He's very dedicated to his craft, always has been. His fear of being sabotaged again comes from the chocolate cartel. He still remembers the things the cartel had done to his business, and he was never able to shake off the fear that it may happen again. He knows he's the best of the best, but for his whole life, chaos ruined everything he knew about (his family. his mom dying, his father taking his mom's memories away from him, the cartel etc) so hes always on edge
Ralsei but hes a NERD !! (like, the candy yknow?)
