“『These people aren’t dying as quickly as they should.』”
What beacon of light could be causing something so harsh and blinding? Why it’s none other than King Knight, who apparently saw it fit to climb on top of a street lamp and pose on it. How is it supporting all that weight? How he did it seems to be just as big a mystery as his actions.
With scepter in hand, the other raises, familiar fanfare playing loud enough to draw the attention of a few robots still wandering the streets--though it seems confetti hasn’t yet rained down as it naturally would with such a spell. The gilded usurper eyes the three approaching robots with a smirk, upper lip twitching twice until teeth are bared.
“ What do you know! It must have been the helmet after all. Well... Now that I have your attention, I have an announcement!
A new decree specifically for you t i n k e r i n g t o n k e r s ! ”
┏ ⋮ ✖ ⋮ ━ ▶ “HELP YOUR DAMN SELVES!” Civilians who weren’t heavily injured ended up receiving this warm message from the hero in training. His attitude was most definitely the reason why he failed the ‘rescue’ portion of his recent exam.

{🍀} “Alright Effie, you know what to do!” Clover’d let her pokemon out to aid in defense, and had found that he was quite good at his work. She didn’t know what the move was, but he seemed to be able to snatch random mechanical parts from the robots- which was quite useful in terms of shutting them down. Clover herself had her wooden axe at the ready, and was smashing up the droids, when she saw someone familiar a short ways off.
“Hey, Gary, right? Watch your back!”
Why robots? Why so many bloody robots?
TWO of his spells were useful. In his time testing the boundaries of his umbra staff’s replacement, Taako quickly came to the realization that he could cast only four spells; all basics that many wizards learned quickly. Not only that, but they could only be cast once a day--and how was that useful when an army of robots came out terrorizing this place?
When it came to him and these towering hunks of metal, Taako knew when his odds of winning were slim, but where was he to run to? It seemed any corner held more of these fucks, and one wrong turn would lead to him being cornered and done for.
Ray of Frost was the first to be cast, and to his luck, the one robot he’d aimed at froze completely solid. One down, three left. One spell gone, three left. In his arsenal, he knew he had only Minor Illusion, Prestidigitation, and Mage Hand to keep himself protected.
“ This is a load of HORSE. SHIT. ”
The words as bitter and hopeless as he felt when scrambling out of the way of an attack only to find another waiting to strike him down. The swift hit easily knocks back his stocky frame, skidding across the streets sidewalk until his back met the building. Mage hand could crush one, then there’d be two. What were two illusion spells going to do?! He could disguise himself as them--but for how long would that charade work out in his favor?
With hands slapped down against stone and legs struggling to force him upright, he finds himself unsure whether to flee or fight. A rasped breath catches in his throat, and it doesn’t come with much thought that his next decision is to shout again...
“ MAGNUS. M-MERLE. IF THIS IS SOME KIND OF JOKE, YOU GOT ME BACK. HAH - HAH - HAH! SEE? I’M LAUGHING. IT’S COOL. I DIG IT. YOU CAN STOP HIDING NOW AND COME FUCKING HELP ME--! ”

Junpei was deciding that he really didn’t like robots. If there were nice robots out there, then he didn’t think he’d ever met one- these guys were just annoying (and not to mention, dangerous). He was mostly just spending his time looking for anything that could be useful against them that’d been dropped, as well as keeping random people out of trouble, when he spotted someone out of the corner of his eye getting snuck up on.
Well, there was no time to reasonably shout out and warn them, so all he could do was instead make a run for it, and tackle him to the ground before the robot attacked. Only then did he realize who it was- the guy from when all those cupids were going around.
Awkward.
He quickly pointed to the robot and then moved to duck into an alleyway, motioning for Flammelle to follow after.

[text] Some of you may die. Likely many of you have not suffered death previously in this place. [text] It will hurt, worse than any pain you have ever felt. But that is all there is. Pain. In a day it will pass. [text] Her forces are not infinite. Given time the last of them will fall. [text] It is then that you should come for her. There are far more of you than there are of her. Tear her limb from limb. She has nowhere to hide in this city and she has vastly underestimated you. [text] Blessings of the Moon upon you all. Remember my words.

Roxas watches the endless number of masses of people just keeps growing and growing by the minute. Those who are skilled in the medical fields helping those who need it, healing any kinds of wounds. Those who risk their lives for others walking in with more and more people. Children crying, people whispering something influenced through fear. It’s pretty hard to watch. Roxas actually dispatches himself every now and then from one safe haven to the next to get people out of harm’s way. The guardians of this haven kind enough to let him regain some strength and rest. He shakes his head and sighs, standing up to walk over and offer food to the new comers seeking refuge. “Here you go,” his smile so fragile, but sincere in hopes of passing on the message that it’ll be okay. He would like to believe so anyway.
He continues on, handing out food but halts at a semi-familiar face. “It’s you.” Roxas tilts his head to the side. The odds of seeing her again. He would ask if she’s okay but he doesn’t see any wounds himself so that’s a relief in itself and the situation at hand is anything but okay. For what it’s worth though. Holding out the water bottle and apple to her he smiles a bit. “Here you go. Take it, you’re safe here.” At least so far the havens have been.
