Meet the Cast - Amanda Rae Gallant
A home grown Islander, Amanda Rae Gallant is just tickled pink to be a part of this humdinger group of crack ups!
A real pistol of a gal, Amanda has sprinkled acting, singing, and producing fundraising events throughout her <AGE REDACTED> years. This year, not being able to be onstage due to the virus that shall remain nameless, she filled her days baking and eating at least 40 loaves of bread and not learning how to do macrame.
You may recognize Amanda from ACT's ‘Much Ado About Nothing’, locally written ‘An Answer to the Question on Death’ in the PEI Fringe festival, or when she proudly sported 4 inch high 80's bangs in Norm Foster's ‘Sinners’ at the Watermark Theatre.
In ‘It's a Wonderful Life’, Amanda has exchanged costume changes for vocal acrobatics. She will be tackling 14 different characters. Ranging from the hot-to-trot Violet Bick to angry bartender Nick, and a few surprises in between.
So, hold on to your hats because this show is not only the cats meow but also the bees knees! "
