I love Star Trek deeply and truly.

I also know that it is a work of fiction created by people. It is not gospel. It is not how the future objectively will or "ought" to be. There are a number of things I disagree with Star Trek about.

My love for a thing is not tied to 100% agreeing with it 100% of the time, and I get a little tired of seeing Star Trek labelled as "terrible" because it isn't an impeccable piece of perfection. Even Star Trek's own philosophy discourages such a mindset time and time again.

At its core, Star Trek is good. It has been since the 1960s. It isn't perfect, but nothing is, and perfection is not the goal. Star Trek is good.

Action, awesome transformation song, a woman of color (Talia), and Season 2 being darker without too much edge (unlike the only Precure season I hate *cough* SMILE PRECURE *COUGH*) and probably the best Western attempt at using PreCure-ish tropes.”

“So in the origins episode Tikki asked Marinette if she caught the akuma (proving she wasn't conscious while transformed) but in the Bubbler Tikki gets angry at Marinette for using the lucky charm, so are the kwamis conscious while transformed or not??”
