The new kids are pretty great!
I really love Emmy's mission and her character! She's one of the only kids that doesn't resort to violence first, we spend the whole time helping cheer her up until the end and I think that's nice. Even as she kills Cindy in the end, the progression felt quite natural -- very well built!
Austin is fun since he's not too complex. He's simple and straightforward, his motivations are clear and sorted out. It's nice to have a character that is exactly what he says to be!
And Davey is so funny -- I wish his anger issues were more utilized but seeing him defend Linda at the end of every day added a lot of character! He's also one of the only kids we see playing.. like, the others are standing around for the most part but he's playing king at recess, he's so sweet

Okay I high key agree with you lol but also I feel like we'd have to say that about every adult who hardcore ships any of the teen relationships then. Is it still weird for adults to hardcore ship Jancy or Stancy or Rovickie since they're also teenagers? Or is it a bit different because of the ages? Either way I agree. No one really should be losing their shit over fictional characters. No one's mental sanity should rely on if two characters in a show are endgame or not.
