So.
We watch "Glee" and like some parts of it. Different parts, different characters, different storylines, maybe even just very few episodes and scenes. The greater part of the fandom is very busy pointing out all the flaws and blaming the writers for being lazy. For not giving us the parts we once all liked about the show. Something the fandom totally agrees on? We liked the fact that the show is about the underdog and taking a stand against bullying, against being cruel. Heck, we had a whole after school special speech delivered by Gwyneth Paltrow about why cyber-bullying - hiding behind grey faces - is not okay.
So what does fandom do? Encouring ship wars, flame wars, attacking other fans for enjoying certain performances and now we have "Confessions to Glee Fandoms" in which it's totally acceptable to mock others for their opinions.
Everybody is taking tests of which-Glee-kid-are-you and trying to manipulate the answers to get the favorite character. All the while behaving like Azimio, nurturing the inner Jacob Ben Israel or living it up to pre-out Karofsky.
Finn Hudson is the patron saint of this fandom. He clearly is. Thinking everything he does is acceptable, right and for the greater good, ignoring consequences and how his actions affect others.
Go on, ship who you like, enjoy the show, enjoy your own table in the fandom-cafeteria, read the fanfictions you like and ignore what doesn't float your boat. It's okay. But stop this ridiculous anon-bullying. What's the point?
Don't take crap from anonymous cowards
A certain blog (confessionstogleefandoms) is allowing tumblr users to anonymously post hate through their blog. This is cyber bullying plain and simple. They claim to be giving a voice to those who don't have one, but in reality they're just encouraging people to passive-aggressively be assholes. And last I checked anyone can make a blog and post about how they feel, but whatever, logic man.
Well folks, now there is a place where you can defend yourself or your ship(I'll even post your Finchel defenses though it may pain me to do so) without being anon or hating on others or their ships. If you want your real voice to be heard you can't do that anonymously.
