Keep Writing, Keep Growing: Embracing Mistakes as a Writer
As a writer, mistakes are inevitable. Whether it's in writing, editing, or accidentally sending the wrong message, there will always be someone who finds a flaw or misunderstands your message. However, this doesn't mean the rest of your audience won't appreciate the effort you put into your story. The key is to move forward and keep writing.
From my own experience, no matter how many times I edit my book, something always slips through when I publish. This isn't unique to my books either; I've bought popular books from the store with similar issues. So, don't be too hard on yourself. Mistakes are part of the process. If you're still second-guessing yourself, consider sharing your work with someone for feedback or using AI to check for errors. There are plenty of tools available to support you on your writing journey.
Before you dismiss using AI, remember that many others are doing so and finding great success. AI can speed up the editing process, ease your mind, and reduce stress. But if you prefer the grind of reading and rereading your work, that's fine too. It's all part of the writing journey, and mistakes are unavoidable. Your confidence will grow as you continue to hone your craft.
