Ben! Benjamin! Been jammin', oh boy let me talk to you about Benny boy. He is the first to shut down shitty stereotypes about people who like mainstream pop boybands. People try to use it as a means to belittle girls, or act mightier than thow because "I listen to real music". He will fucking fight you with KNOWLEDGE about everything from new kids on the block, to backstreet boys, to one direction. He will not stand for this hatred when all he's trying to do is dance and have a good time!!!
OMG YES. Ben is like, ‘yea, I like boy bands. What of it’. He suffers no fools when it comes to music- Ben is the biggest advocate for ‘like what you like’ and he has the best playlists for dancing to because they’re all bops.
Bonus: The first date Bev takes him on is definitely to a New Kids on the Block concert. She buys him a shirt and everything.
