Guyz... if you aren't following ConGeek you should be! Especially if you're my friend. You gotta be part geek, right? We launched in May (even though I just last night put up my profile!) and we are growing! This was Rein's baby but she has graciously let a few of us join her on building this site. We started with nothing, brainstormed, and collaborated and we were born. We are across FB, Twitter, and Tumblr.
Please like our page and join us anywhere else you are so inclined. We are currently approaching 100 facebook followers and we would love to see that triple digit! Help us out?

Do you have any siblings?
I do! I have one blood-related sibling: an older brother. My bro and I have an underlying relationship that's not all that dissimilar to Dean and Sam's - primarily that he gives me shit all the time and looks at that as his second job in life, the first one being to rescue my ass from any trouble I get myself into.
Seriously. He is who I call first if I get stranded on the side of the road, or slide my car into a curb and bend the rim of my wheel, or that the dude who keeps showing up and parking at the archery range is starting to scare me. Don't get me wrong, I do all the right things afterward - but I call him more out of tradition and comfort, and there's this perception that I'm safe now, because he knows where I am and what's happening to me.
When I was a socially awkward, overweight junior high-schooler, he was two years ahead of me and nobody but NOBODY messed with me on the playground. I didn't always like that I had to do it, but if I was getting harassed I could yell for him and he'd come plowing in hell-for-leather.
Sometimes he disappoints me, sometimes his crass stupidity and thoughtlessness just SHOCKS me, but I know he's got my back and I used to spend a lot of my time trying to be the kind of person he'd be proud of, because I never felt like I was.
I have a handful of brothers-by-other-mothers, the primary one being my darling wingsister Skitz, also known as touchofstrange. The two of us have been friends for well over a decade now, she's always there when I need her and deserves so much love for putting up with me. Skitz was the first person I did shots with (and coincidentally the first person I got drunk with), she was the first person I took a vacation alone to visit, she's been my roleplaying buddy for aaages, and she's responsible for why I'm in Supernatural fandom at all. Dude, I ignored this show until she
basically sat me down and said:
If you could cosplay as anyone or anything what would you dress as?
Castiel or Captain John Hart. The stipulation is that I'd have to look enough like them to make people stop in their tracks.
What’s your favorite album?
Ohgod. I have to pick? I can't pick. Are you crazy? I certainly have a thing for "In the Glenn Miller Mood," by the USAF Airmen of Note - it's one of the rare albums that I listen to all the way through and enjoy every song. But I have a thing for big band swing, and I like to think about Jack and Cas dancing to it.
Second favorite if we're going by albums I listen to all of would probably be Greatest Hits by Eagles. And then Christmas Eve and Other Stories by Trans-Siberian Orchestra
What’s your favorite breakfast cereal?
I generally don't eat breakfast cereal, unless you count oatmeal. In which case, steel-cut. I like how it pops.
iPhone or Android?
Ugh, Android. Never, never, NEVER going to own an Apple product if I can avoid it.
What’s your favorite thing to do out of the house?
ARCHERY! \o\ GHOST HUNTING /o/ GOING TO MOVIES! \o\ ROADTRIPPING! /o/
Have you ever played a sport and if so, what?
Not unless you count the way I raged my way through the floor hockey unit during high school.
Favorite Doctor and/or favorite Bond?
CHRISTOPHER ECCLESTON /o/ DANIEL CRAIG
I'm so sorry to classic!Bond fans, but I'm so shallow... I've never been able to get past young Sean Connery's HUGE EYEBROWS. Once they stopped being so interminably BLACK he got a little easier to look at.
Favorite Disney movie?
See question 3. I have to PICK ONE? All right, Cars. I have a pretty deeply personal relationship with that movie. I can't watch it without getting choked up. Not that me getting choked up over movies or television is any greater sign of a bond. I do that kind of ridiculously frequently.
I love Route 66. Moreover, I love its sort of tragic slow death, and how you can still find pieces of it like the bones of a great mythical beast in certain parts of the country if you know where to look. I've cried over finding the Route 66 shield on the pavement in the middle of no fucking where, Illinois. I just get emotional about America's car culture mythology, okay?
Cat person, Dog person or fish person?
Cat person. Fuzzy little lawn tigers own my ass.
What would you name a pet turtle?
Probably Van Halen or Bonham or Captain Jack IDK I shouldn't be trusted with naming animals.

Years ago I attended an anime convention with my (then) girlfriend. She wanted to do a couple costume so we went as Ban (her) and Ginji (me) from The Getbackers. I was personally fond of the Beastmaster but sometimes we compromise, right?
Anyhow, we went to the rave after the panels had closed because I wanted to dance. She’s not a dancer but she did her compromise. We had really nice give-and-take back in those days.
So I’m standing there sipping the rum and coke she bought me when all of a sudden I feel teeth sink into my shoulder from behind. I jumped back, ready to swing on whoever had punched me (instinct, you know?) and I see this girl, maybe 16 or 17 jumping up and down screaming how much she loves Ginji and she just ~had~ to “have a bite”.
My girlfriend stayed in character as Ban and defused the situation between me and the girl because I was still ready to hit her. She had not only put her mouth on me, without me even knowing she was in my personal space, she bit hard enough that I had teeth marks on my shoulder.
Had this girl approached me and asked for a hug I would have gladly given her one. Had she approached me and asked for a nibble, well, I can’t say for certain I would have said no. But the thing is, she never gave me a choice. I was never given the chance to make a choice, I was just bitten. Actually bitten.
Was it sexual in nature? Maybe, maybe not. Was it inappropriate? Absolutely 100%.
