A couple of displays I’ve been working on. These are on opposite sides of the fish bagging desk at work. The first is a Lake Tanganyika biotope, the second is a Congo River Basin biotope, both around 160-170 gallons. Trying to show off some of the more unusual fish species, and also the huge contrast in habitat and water conditions despite the geographic proximity.

Congo still needs a few things, gonna throw down a layer of leaf litter and probably add some more stuff. Debauwi Cats, Spotted Congo Puffer or two, maybe a Ctenopoma. Definitely some African Butterfly Fish once there’s more surface cover. Those tiger lotus should start blooming soon, hoping for nice pink flowers.
