Just got a job !!! My joints ache and I have to deal with judgey old people in retail but in a few months I'll have enough money to splurge! Can't wait to see what yall have planned for 2026. Or maybe whatever restock is happening at the time will have some wishlist items. A girl can hope.

I hope it goes as smoothly as possible, and I really appreciate that you've got us in mind for when you've got some spendin' cash built up 🥰 As for what might be going on in the shop around a few months from now.. hmmm.. 🤔 Around May/June we should have restocks going up from whatever all will end up being in February Preorders (this section is extremely a WIP right now, but the link exists so I might as well put it) later this month. There's gonna be a few new @vetiverfox skater skirts available! And if I get my act together at all I think I'll release a few currently maxi-only designs onto midi skirts (like Emergence at the very least) plus in the other direction perhaps some plaids on maxis for the first time~ Plans for the middle of this year are very nebulous and gonna be quite different from our norm because I'm gonna be thru-hiking the Appalacian Trail from April until ??? (Aug/Sept perhaps? who knows!). Which means I won't be physically present to do things like take pictures of new designs, etc. A lot of shop plans are either happening before April or not until October, haha. I'm trying to keep things more simplified and streamlined so @themikeydeano won't have a complete nightmare time dealing with inventory and whatnot on his own. We'll just all have to see how it goes 'cause idk yet either

okay , i won the m&g, soundcheck, q&a for my session tour. And youre always so thoughtful in the way you think/speak. So i wanted to know if you had the chance to ask like 4 or 5 questions what would you ask? i wanted to keep it about music since he always says he isnt asked about that enough. I just want a thoughtful question that makes him go "oh!?.." and gives me a thoughtful answer.

AHH, THAT’S SO EXCITING!! congratulations to you, you must be so excited!!! i can totally help with an idea, but BY NO MEANS would i want you to feel obligated; you’re the lucky duck, so congrats again!! IF i had the chance to ask him a question, i think it might revolve around the themes of the album. 

like, now that we’ve heard it, the common theme of the whole thing seems to be the inevitable deterioration of this relationship, so i’d just wonder whether he set out to make an album of break-up songs, or if that’s just what naturally happened when he hit the studio? 

he keeps mentioning ‘flicker’ as a turning point for the album; is that what brought it all together for him and made the final product pretty clear? and i’d wonder whether there were songs on other topics, like current events, or songs from years past, or even more upbeat songs that he left off the album because they didn’t fit well with the rest. 

and also maybe how come the album DOES consist of a set of songs that all kinda tackle the same topic, albeit from different angles, because the album format flies in the face of the age of streaming singles and mixtapes. 

also, on the very technical side of things, he plays, what, 3 or 4 guitars every night? on what basis does he decide which guitar to play for which song? and as for the album, to what extent was he involved in arranging them?

so there’s some ideas of questions i’d LOVE to hear answered, but that’s by no means exhaustive!! i hope it helps!!

OH MY GOD ME TOO BAHAHA I always failed at english until I made it through at 8th grade because my teacher was amazing!! and I liked it because I watched alot of english movies and tv shows that time! and Oh!!!! I graduated as an EFL teacher this January!!

AHH CONGRATS LOVE!! 🥺 that’s amazing! one of the reasons why i was doing so badly at school is because my teacher literally hated me she even told me so when she wasn’t my teacher anymore 😭 it was hilarious. i’m honestly planning on studying translation next year instead of what i’m studying now but we’ll see what happens!!
