so i know we both started jobs on the same day, how was your second day? my place had a fire. (everyones ok, it was outside, but holy SHIT it was funny to say my 2nd day i got hands on experience with a fire extinguisher)

My second day was not at all that exciting 😆. I’m heading into my second and a half week now. But everything‘s turning out steady. It’s still an environmental job and I’ll be working more on the regulation side of things 😉 📝 a lot of paperwork (ew), but it’ll help me climb up the ranks and keep me in the loop. I am still a little overwhelmed with some things, but I’m gonna try my best!

If men would actually want "loser gfs" they would just need to go to a male-dominated fandom. For example, Warhammer 40k. I've been in the fandom for over 3 decades. All the women I known are were either married with 7 seven or single as a pringle. And I say this as someone who's currently pregnant with her second child and who has friends who are single women

There's a big issue with men kind of wanting their cake and eating it too, where they want the nerdy gf but not too nerdy but she also needs to be hot but a virgin but a sex fiend, etc. WH guys sometimes get really bad with the whole build a gf stuff they complain on grimdank about there being no women in the hobby and I'm like. There's tons! Just not what you want xD

There is no woman stronger than a woman in a male dominated fandom xD

Story time! In honour of me becoming the new mod for ewsharpie-back when I was like, 5/7, me and my Mom were in Walmart...I decided to hide in one of the four sided clothes racks, and she kinda just, like...left? A few hours, maybe two, pass, and little me crawls out, immediately distressed that my Mom wasn't there. It took awhile for them to find my Mom, and to say that I was in a lot of trouble would be an understatement. Long story short? I'm a little shit, and I have to many stories about it

This reminds me of the time I was playing hide and seek and cheated and locked myself in the bathroom. Like half an hour later I come out and my mother starts screeching and yelling at me to never do that again.

To say I was confused is understatement until I later realized how much an idiot I was.
