I feel so proud of myself today! I accomplished a lot of little things.
In the morning, I was in a generally good mood. I got ready for work and didn't feel as miserable as I usually do.
In the afternoon, I tried new mediterranean food. I liked it. I can't remember what I ate exactly but it was very good. It was completely new too!
In the afternoon, I finally got through some more difficult work. I was able to work at a faster pace. Which is totally new for me.
For dinner, I tried a new sushi roll at Mido. I tried the Rainbow Roll and I loved it. I was very proud of myself for stepping outside my comfort zone and trying something new.
Now I'm going to try those cricket flour cookies my mum keeps mentioning. She's a public policy major. She works in the sustainability area. So, she tries to get people in our family to try more sustainable foods and practices. Such as planting a type of tree that you can eat the leaves off of for excellent protein and use the seed pods for various cooking supplies. Right now she's having us try flour made from crickets. My mum's used to eating bugs since she lived in Europe for a little while and she was dirt poor in America as a child. She also just likes those mexican lollipops that have ants or some other bugs in them.
You were never weak. To be raw is real. To be open is to be courageous. To be vulnerable is to be brave. You turned out to be stronger than you ever could have imagined.

.Cheers To You: Learning How to Celebrate Yourself
We tend to be our worst critic. All the “congratulations” in the world mean nothing if you don’t include yourself in the celebration. Why be so hard on yourself? Why is it that you are unable to recognize when you have executed something flawlessly? Today is a new day, it’s now time to start loving you and all that you do!

it's honestly amazing how much people don't mature. I was under the impression that people grow up and mature and educate themselves, but NOPE.
