The yatra arrived back at Boderli hamlet in the Madhya Pradesh district of Burhanpur today after finishing the Maharashtra lag and enjoying a two-day break. A substantial group of Congress leaders and supporters, including Madhya Pradesh Congress president Kamal Nath, participated in the yatra on its first day in Madhya Pradesh. Nana Patole, the head of the Maharashtra Congress, gave the yatra banner to Kamal Nath. The Congress' general secretary in charge of communications, Jairam Ramesh, stated that over the course of the following 11 days, the yatra would pass through seven districts in the state.

Former Rajasthan deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot, Raghu Sharma, Shatisinh Gohil, Jagdish Thakor, Sukhram Rathva, Bharatsinh Solanki, Arjun Mothvadia, and Jignesh Mevani will all run as the party's leading campaigners.
