Coniferstripe finds Rootstar and Caterpillarpelt's uneasiness and alteration of the prey to be very strange. It shouldn't be an issue for the prey to grow a few stray grey hairs every now and again. It's reasonable, he thinks, to assume that winter is arriving early, but then why all the secrecy?
Stranger yet, he heard from Cougargleam that she caught Tanglefern burying something not too long ago near TonitrumClan's borders.
Coniferstripe is pondering whether he should go out and look for himself.
