Describe a scenario in which your character feels most comfortable.

//There are a lot of situations that could fit that, but I think the first one that jumps to mind is when the Doctor meets new people for the first time, on a new planet (and they aren’t hostile of course), with or without companions with him. Those moments are always magical because those people don’t know him, so they don’t have expectations, and at the same time, they’re potential friends.

He likes this very much because he can act most closely like himself, without the questions that might come from more experienced companions who already know him better. It’s also easier to hide secrets behind truths and to awe them all at once. It’s all about fun, really, and if he gets to show them the TARDIS and add an “it’s bigger on the inside” reaction to his collection, it’s even better.

How does your character behave around people they dislike?

//He tends to be dismissive and cold, mainly. He’s also quite guarded touch-wise, when with the people he likes he’s far more touchy feely. Funnily, that also extends to physical violence: if he likes you, he’s far more likely to touch you in more abrupt ways (for example, shaking you) than if he doesn’t like you, and even so, that’s already extremely rare. All in all, he doesn’t touch the people he doesn’t like. Aside from that, he’s very likely to smile with too much teeth, make snappish remarks, and turn his sarcasm up to eleven.

Does the Doctor ever dream of alternate timelines when he died, and see the possible consequences to those around him? If he had died during the Year That Never Was, for example, or like in Turn Left? Does he ever wake up and regret waking up because he wanted the dream more than his current reality?

//I don’t personally headcanon that as possible. While he can see the timelines, he clearly cannot see his own, or he’d have acted very differently in a lot of situations. Likewise, I headcanon he can’t dream of the future of the exact timeline he’s on. More than that, as he’s the witness of those timelines, I don’t think he could dream of a part where he doesn’t exist anymore. I suppose he could dream up to a potential death of him, but not beyond. At least that’s my headcanon.

The Doctor doesn’t do romantic things. Or so he thinks. And while he doesn’t label anything he does as ‘romantic’, he still does a lot of things that could be seen as romantic by most humans.The most romantic things he’s done with a partner are probably stargazing together, long walks in pretty places, or bringing them to a planet he’s thought of juuuust for them. Or dancing with them at a ball. Because that’s a thing that’s happened.
