I don’t think it’s possible to convince your parents… You just have to prove them wrong I guess?
It wasn't my parents I was thinking of to be honest...my folks are extremely progressive and pretty much believe in letting me and my brother become independent and make our own decisions and stuff. But it seems like so many peoples' parents/guardians don't see it that way. And even my parents frown a bit when I mention my online friends. And I'm an adult ahaha.
