This dance costume, constructed over a leotard of flesh-colored fabric with a fitted strapless bodice decorated with stripes comprised of white bugle beads, with a long flowing beaded skirt, was designed by Edith Head for Juliet Prowse’s Lili in the 1960 Elvis film 𝑮.𝑰. 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒔. The gown made a very brief appearance in the 1971 film 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒎 𝑮𝒂𝒏𝒈, where it was worn by Connie Stevens as Anna Borg.
