While hammering a sword, Connor hummed an old song from the village where he was born. He missed the place, but he was content with his life here and it was rewarding to share his weaponcraft with the people who were defending the village he now called home. What pulled him out of his absorbed state was the sound of footsteps and clanging metal. He didn't need to look back to identify which customer had entered the workshop. "Fawkes, is that you?" he said in a casual tone, as they were already quite familiar with each other. The orc glanced over his shoulder before giving the final hammer blows to the sword before it cooled. "This is the sixth time you've been here this month," he scoffed, "and last time I had to give you a considerable discount so you could afford it." He finally turned to face the warrior. "I don't do repairs for free, but if you're short on coins, I'll accept payment in kisses." Then he laughed heartily, all tusks grinning.
