Look, realistically, even if the lockdown was LONG enough (I’m pretty sure it’s a few days) I don’t think he’d have a kid in there, nor do I think he’d ever be okay with himself if he had one in his mutated state while with Innovation, worried about their health and all of that.
HOWEVER, I think Sebastian would REALLY want kids post-recovery and also once he has his stuff sorted out. He missed a big part of his life and it could really comfort him if he got to see his kids get the life he didn’t.
He’d care for them like how he cared for his younger brother, that’s for sure. He’d be a bit of a tease, a goofball, and generally just the fun-loving dad.
…Maybe just a tad too overbearing. He wants them safe. He wants them to be okay.
Most important of all, they need a father.
In the earlier years, you COULD NOT pry any of his fat idiot babies from him. At night, he’d struggle to even close his eyes if they weren’t sleeping in the same room.
Kids—friends of his own kids—from around the neighbourhood would probably refer to him as “Uncle Sebastian” and they’d use the house to hangout under supervision.
He’s not good with it, but he’d likely get a little ukulele to help sing his children to sleep. If they’re begging for it, he COULD pull out the aux and electric guitar…
Speaking of “them”, I think he’d settle for two or three. He never got “middle child”-ed when he was raised by his ‘ma, and he’ll ensure he carries that on.
He sleeps with his shotgun under the bed in case anything happens.
Sneaking out is a no-no, as it is for any parent, but he wouldn’t raise sneaky kids anyway. All he would want are open and honest children. He’s happy to drive them to parties as long as he’s the one driving them back home, even at 4 in the morning.
He’s quite open to sensitive topics, I’d imagine—aside from his own trauma. Puberty? Easy! Drugs? Easy!
“Sure, you can try weed when you’re an adult, but let me watch over first, ‘kay?”
In saying all of this, he would probably bubblewrap them for a little too long. The world is dangerous and cruel, after all.
There’s probably old photos of him while he was still mutated and with whoever his S/O is, hiding away in the master bedroom. If questioned, he’d always respond with “It’s a story for another time.”
How could something like him make something as perfect as his children? There’s nothing but love for them.
