I certainly don’t need a fall- not that I’m incredibly fragile, but it might take me a moment to get back up.” Espen was showing Reika his wheelchair, teaching her how to use it for inevitable times where he wouldn’t be able to move himself. As long as he could use his arm, he could control it with the joystick, but there would be times that he wouldn’t be able to move anything but his face. With his new wheelchair, he was trying to teach those close to him how to operate it.
“I... I’d rather not use it, but I know as time goes on, I’ll have no choice. For a while, I hope a cane will be enough to keep me moving. Is it okay if I grab on your arm if I need it? I’d hate to startle you.”
