2021 here we go 🚀. It's all relative though, right? What a funny year. I'm certainly not the first to comment on this, but the collective of your part of the journey is astounding. For the most part. ____________________________ For me, for example, I never fully quarantined, it took awhile until October and being recovering from surgery to understand the isolation a bit more. ____________________________ Also, for me, on reflection it was punctuated by a lot of growth in some areas. Followed by a return to old habits in those same areas. ____________________________ Overall up, but man, it's weird to reflect and imagine how time could have been spent, instead of this ↙️ -Scrolling on Instagram 🙋🏼 - Not making plans, nor having a running to do list, not accomplishing much -Too many naps - *Not prioritizing goals/Not holding to your prioritizations* I could go on . . But eh, I need to sneak in a run because I took too long of a nap just now and why am I on Instagram typing too long a caption 😜. ____________________________ And that reflection happens every year. ____________________________ There's always room for growth and improvement, and I wouldn't want it any other way. Low consciousness is the state of mind that is obsessed with comfort. It rationalizes and justifies the most comfortable means and ends - no matter how self-destructive. The first step in gaining higher consciousness is consciously living a uncomfortable life, a painful life. So when faced with a tragedy, embrace it and continue life. Don't wish for an alternative. Don't fantasize about what could've been.
