when or if I started shipping it. it started out as a joke because pure's name on skype was "papa I'd like to fuck" and I very innocently asked if that applied to me and it wAS REALLY FUNNY BUT THEN IT BECAME HEARTBREAKING AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW THE MORALITY ASPECT OF THIS BUT IT REALLY HURTS

my thoughts: neo is such an idiot and purea is so patient with him, and it's so wonderful because they like each other for who they are and nothing else. Prayer acknowledges that Neo isn't Mwu and Neo appreciates Prayer as a human being and not a clone, and it just makes me hurt a lot on the inside because they're just these two people in situations they don't want to be in trying to find moments of okayness, and they happen to find those moments when they're with each other. and also because Neo keeps getting mad over the stupidest things and pretending to be creeped out constantly by the Supreme Librarian but he's actually the bigger flirt and it's so cuTE BECAUSE PUREA IS SO INNOCENT AND I

What makes me happy about them: i really the idea of neo trying to show pure the world while he can, and everything viewed in reality instead of through a computer screen, and how they can just spend time together and enjoy it because they're together and nEO PRETENDS HE DOESN'T LIKE IT BUT HE REALLY DOES while purea isnt afraid to show his happiness. god pureas just happy neos there with him and I cant breathe

What makes me sad about them: they're never meant to have a happy ending no matter how hard either of them try

Nervous.

That's a good indicator of how Mwu feels.

In fact, maybe nervous isn't good enough. It's a stomach-sinking, heart-palpitating, palm-sweating kind of terror that makes its way into every blood cell inside of him--Mwu swears he didn't do anything wrong.

He doesn't like failure. He doesn't like disappointing people he owes big things to.

He doesn't want to disappoint Prayer.

He spends a couple of seconds pacing, trying to steel himself for the scolding he'll probably receive. He wonders if Prayer knows about his skirmish with Lacus Clyne and how she'd attempted to twist information out of him. He figures he probably does. That's what the Supreme Librarian is for, isn't it? Knowing everything?

Mwu takes in a deep breath before he finally stands straight in front of Prayer's door.

He wipes his palms on his pants and swallows thickly.

He really hopes he didn't do anything wrong.

Lifting a hand, he knocks thrice, and then he shoves his hands into his pockets to hide how much they're shaking. Mwu waits patiently for approval, not daring to open the door before then.

//Durandal's definitely not someone I've written before, so thank you for the challenge.

The fruit of his labor was blooming. Off to the side, Meer was peering down onto the floor below through the large, framed window panes of his office. The fall of her long pink hair was glaringly bright in the dim lighting of his office, but he couldn't have been more thrilled. Her surgery and subsequent recovery was a success, and she was ripe for throwing at the people of the PLANTs as a replacement for their lost idol.

Meer turned and, throwing a smile in his direction, asked in apparent disbelief, "My first appearance is next week?"

"Yes," Durandal answered in a smooth voice, clasping his hands behind his back. "Next Monday. Have you prepared your song?"

Meer turned away demurely. "I have, but I'm not sure if I'm ready yet."

He gave her a reassuring smile. "Of course you are."

The flower of his labor was blooming.
