awful. the poor guy can barely even look after himself: he forgets to eat, barely sleeps, doesn’t drink enough water. he can stay organised well enough, a messy house bothering him beyond function, but in terms of self-care, or care of another, he falls flat. many a time has he tried to spruce up windowsills with decorative flowers, only to forget to water them and consequently see them wilt, much to his disappointment. the only exception to this incompetence, of course, is octavia.
when it comes to his little sister, his concern overrides any obstacle, because her needs are always at the forefront of his mind. they work beneficially to him, too, serving as a constant reminder that if she needs to eat, he probably should as well, or that if it’s getting late and she’s tired, maybe he ought to sleep, too.
