Morning!
I drank a lot of water last night before bed. Why? I don't know; I knew what the consequences were going to be. So this morning at 6:40am, my lovely fiancé’s alarm went off. I tossed and turned after he hit snooze and at 6:50am I had no choice but to make a dead sprint to the bathroom. Stupid, stupid me. Typically, I would go back to bed for an hour or so (yay for flexible work hours!) but today I decided to get up. I hopped in the shower & threw some waves in my hair before he even got out of bed. Holy mother of pearl. I actually woke up early! The absolute best part… I feel awesome! Usually I am sluggish and rely on a cup of iced tea when I walk into the office, but today I made a cup because I wanted it, not because I needed it. That is a wonderful step in the right direction.
