Missy walks out of a room, lipstick smeared and hair disheveled. "You should see the other guy." She smirks, gesturing towards the door. You open it. The Doctor is dead on the floor

twelvemissy drives me fucking crazy because for the first time since delgado!master they were really friends. after so long. and in every episode you can see how careful they are with each other. so so hesitant as missy tries so hard to prove herself and twelve just can't let his guard down yet but wants her around so badly. needs her around so badly. and the doctor falls....what better (or more painful) end for this storyline could there be than missy choosing the doctor and dying for it and the doctor living the rest of his life thinking she betrayed him

thinking about how in oxygen, nardole finds out the doctor is still blind and is very worried about it cause he fears missy could sense that and use that vulnerability to escape. And then, at the start of extremis, the episode right after that, the doctor puts his forehead against the door of the vault and just tells her. He tells her he's blind and he's scared. plain and simple. She doesn't even have to find out, because he goes willingly to her and tells her he's blind, he's vulnerable, and he tells her.
