What is Centrism?

What is Centrism? Who are Centrists? What are Politcal Centrist beliefs?
I'm going to answer all these questions and more in this post. I'm making this becausw, Centrist and Centrism have been lied about and slandered. I'm here to clear things up. I hope this helps Centrists explain their political views better.
A Centrist is a person whose political opinions are not extreme, or a person whose beliefs fall between those of liberals and conservatives. Centrists don't have party lines.
Centrism is a political ideology based on reason and pragmatism considerate of short and long term thinking - Centrism is not defined by compromise or moderation, it is considerate of them.
So, the "Compromise Meme" doesn't show who or what Centrist actually are.

Centrist are not Liberal or Conservative, But Centrist ideologies, philosophy, politics, and beliefs can be either both Conservative or Liberal, or even neither.
This brings up the Left Leaning-Centrism and the Right Leaning-Centrism. Centre-left and centre-right politics both involve a general association with centrism combined with leaning somewhat to their respective sides of the spectrum.

Radical Centrism isn't Regular Centrism.

The radical in the term refers to a willingness on the part of most radical centrists to call for fundamental reform of institutions. One radical centrist text defines radical centrism as "idealism without illusions", a phrase originally from John F. Kennedy.
Radical centrists typically borrow ideas from the left, the right, and elsewhere, often melding them together. Most support market-based solutions to social problemswith strong governmental oversight in the public interest. There is support for increased global engagement and the growth of an empowered middle class in developing countries. Many radical centrists work within the major political parties, but also support independent or third-party initiatives and candidacies.

Centrism is not moderate or "let's compromise"
It's only depicted/shown that way by liberal and/or conservatives.
Being a Centrist isn't a bad thing just like being a Conservative or Liberal isn't a bad thing.
Politics are a spectrum.
This is real Centrism.
You are not your ideology. You are a person.
An ideology is a chosen set of ideals and desired social norms by which you judge other people.
The problem is, when disagreements arise, many will attack the person not the ideology. This is the core of dehumanization. Attacking the person, rather than addressing their beliefs, devalues the person. It paints them as an evil and in doing so, harms your empathy and sympathy it hardens your heart makes you more of the monster you claim someone else is.
Of course, that’s not to say whatever the other person says isn’t wrong or that their actions aren’t reprehensible but if you want any hope of reaching other people, you cannot attack them. Doing so only guarantees they’ll view you as the monster in turn… so that not only does no one win, but everyone loses.
The offender leaves with a stronger confirmation that their position is right, because of your dehumanization, and you leave the encounter colder and angrier because of your inability to get someone to see your side. Both you and the other person will paint each other as evil, based on your ideology regardless of the objective truth:
You’re both human beings who feel strongly about your beliefs. However, for whatever reason, the choice was made to dehumanizing one another instead of respecting each other’s humanity, and address the merits of each ideology, rather than attack the person.
If you attack the person, rather than addressing the beliefs, then, regardless of what the other person is doing, you are in the wrong, and only harming yourself and your cause.
MAGA Kids were Slandered and Lied about?? They're now taking Legal action against various Journalist who Slandered them.
There were African American Hebrews Israelites (a Homophobic hate group) there saying Homophobic things, reading out homophobic passages, calling gay people Faggots, etc. Trying to convert people. One of the MAGA hat wearing actually says "They're still humans". They were also saying sexist and racist things toward the MAGA kids and the NA man.
The kids also DIDN'T get in the NA Guys face btw. He was walking in the crowd playing a song that was meant to calm the crowd down, and He walked up to the Kid.

A student who was actually there and goes to the same school as the MAGA kids then emailed a local news anchor (Local 12 News) to tell them what actually happened. He stated that what the kids were doing was taken out of context. He said that this is something their school does every year in DC, and that since it was an all boys school they all were normally hyped and decided to chant their schools slogan "Colonel Crazies", He then went on to say that The NA Man walked into the middle of there group and continued playing, He and kids friends all thought that he was banging along to their chanting so they decided to join in. He then walked up to the kid you see in the video smiling in the MAGA hat. Then he describes the Hebrew hate group started insulting them, and preaching about how homosexuality is a sin. The person who posted this video below that is going viral was a NA activist who stated that the kids sought out the area to specifically chant racist things.
According to the kids official statement; They were all standing on the stairs waiting for a bus, and were told to wait there by their chaperones. It got crowded and the MAGA kids actually started arguing with the Hebrew Israelites. Because, the Israelites were calling them Gay and even insulted their AA friend. Before the NA man even starts chanting and playing his song the MAGA kids are chanting about their school.
Also, the activist who posted the below video said that the kids were being violent, hateful and chanting Pro Trump things, But if you watch the full video and pay attention, that's not at all what happened. They even chanted with the NA Man.
I just wanted everyone to see and know what actually happened there. Personally I don't think the kids deserve to be expelled, and the massive ammount of hate these kids are getting is alarming. People are threating to hurt them, etc. That's really bad. We shouldn't result to violence on any matter especially if you don't have all the facts.
As of now the MAGA kids names have been cleared and many news outlets have retracted their statements and apologised. Not all news stopped slandering or even apologised. Now the kids are taking Legal action.

Song I produced and put together about the a couple of the numerous atrocities currently still happening in our lives. We have an election coming up and a chance again to make some change in this world. In the mean time do everything you feel you can. Be a leader, be an example. Don’t just preach tolerance do it. Telling trump supporters they suck and why they suck will never get our message across. open a dialog and listen to each other.
